Delete your Sollund Health account

Request deletion by email

Write to us and say you would like your account deleted. Include the email address you use to sign in to Sollund, so we know which account to remove.

Writing from the address on the account is the quickest way for us to confirm the request is yours. If you cannot, tell us the address on the account and we will write back to check before we delete anything.

We complete verified requests within 30 days.

Or delete it in the app

If you already have Sollund installed, this is the faster route. Open the app, tap the profile icon in the top right of the home screen, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account.

A confirmation appears first, and nothing is removed until you tap Delete my account on it. Once you do, the deletion happens right away.

Delete some data and keep your account

You do not have to delete your account to remove part of what Sollund holds:

• Photos: on the Profile screen, open your photos, select the ones to remove, and tap Delete. A caregiver in your care circle can also delete them on the Photos page of the caregiver portal. Deleted photos are hidden right away and erased 30 days later. Until then they appear in your data export, marked deleted.
• The AI voice: the caregiver who recorded the voice deletes it in the portal. It is also deleted when they leave your circle, when you or support remove them from it, when they delete their account, when another caregiver records a new voice, when you delete yours, or after a year without use. We also ask our voice provider to delete it.
• Game results and conversations: turn off the "Keep a record of my progress" switch on the Profile screen. Past game results and conversation transcripts are erased right away, and new ones are not saved. We keep only the date and length of each conversation, to apply usage limits.

For anything else, email support@sollundhealth.com and say what you would like removed. We complete verified requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Either route removes all of it:

• Every photo in your album, including any a caregiver added, and the captions saved with them
• All of your Reminisce conversations
• The voice a caregiver recorded for your sessions, including the copy held by our voice provider
• Your care circle, so every caregiver you invited loses access
• Your profile details, activity history, and game history
• Your account and sign-in, so you will not be able to get back in

This cannot be undone

Deletion is permanent. There is no holding period and no way for us to bring an account back once it is gone. Our encrypted database backups keep a copy for up to 30 days before they age out. Security audit records, which show when data was accessed and who changed a care circle or an AI voice, are kept for 6 years. If any of the photos matter to you, first tap Download my data on the Profile screen; your copy is ready right away.

If you pay for Sollund Plus

What happens to your subscription depends on where you bought it, and the two stores are not the same.

Google Play

We cancel it for you as part of the deletion. You do not need to do anything, and you will not be charged again.

App Store

Apple gives us no way to cancel a subscription for you, so this one does not stop on its own. Cancel it yourself in the App Store, or Apple will keep billing you after the account is gone.

If you are a caregiver

Delete your caregiver account in the portal: it deletes any voice you recorded and takes you out of every care circle. Sign in at sollundhealth.com/portal, open Account, and tap Delete my account.

It removes:

• Any voice you recorded, including the copy held by our voice provider
• Your place in every care circle you are in, so you stop seeing their activity, conversations and photos
• Your profile and sign-in, so you will not be able to get back in

These records outlive the account:

• Your name and email stay in the sharing history of each person whose care circle you were in, until they delete their account, so they can learn who saw their data.
• Your phone number and your text message opt-ins and opt-outs are kept for 4 years as proof of consent.
• Records of the safety texts we sent you name you as the caregiver texted, until the person they were about deletes their account.
• Security audit records of what you did are kept for 6 years.

Photos you added stay with the person you added them for, and once your voice is deleted their sessions use the standard voice. If you also use the Sollund app yourself, deleting your account removes everything listed under What gets deleted too.
